The following are the new lockdown regulations imposed today, 22 July 2020.

*All non working sections of the population will be required to stay at home except to get food water and health services.

*All workplaces to work 8-3pm except providers of essential services

*6pm-6am curfew except for essential services

*All premises to observe WHO standards.

*Only registered SMEs will be allowed to work and must comply with WHO standards

*Food markets to remain open.

*Intercity and travel to rural areas remain banned.

*Church and political gatherings remain banned.

*Funeral activities remain curtailed.

Zimbabwe today celebrates 38 years of independence. Independence came after a protracted civil war and to Zimbabweans it means peace and a justiciable Bill of Rights. We hope their values will be deepened as we head into the most significant election since independence.
