NEC Tourism is a statutory body formed in accordance with the labour act to:
1. Assist its members in concluding CBAs;
2. Resolve labour disputes through conciliations, hearings, rulings and various adjudications;
3. Facilitate industrial harmony through labour inspections;
4. Enforce compliance with the labour regulations;
5. Advice members on legal procedures on carrying out retrenchments, exemptions, hearings etc
