Yesterday, the National Secretary General of ZINASU visited Chinhoyi University of Technology on the final day of the orientation programme, where he met with members of the Chapter Executive.
During the meeting, he emphasized the importance of building strong organizational structures and encouraged the Chapter Executive to adopt diverse and innovative recruitment strategies in preparation for the SRC elections later this year.
The Chapter Executive also took the opportunity to brief him on some of the major challenges currently affecting the chapter and discussed possible ways of addressing them.

🔵⚪️The Zimbabwe National Students Union fully endorses and stands with the Pastoral Letter issued by the Zimbabwe Council of Churches. We associate ourselves with this statement on principle and out of love for our country. Zimbabwe’s constitutional crisis must be resolved through respect for the will of the people. This requires genuine and inclusive dialogue, leading to a referendum and the upholding of every Zimbabwean’s constitutional rights.

Our 2 cdes appeared before the Chinhoyi Magistrates Court this morning and they have been cleared of all charges of disorderly conduct. We maintain the cdes were INNOCENT from the onset. We welcome this outcome and forge ahead with unwavering commitment to the struggle.
