RE: PASSING OF COMRADE ELLIOT NDIRA (TURNALL HOLDINGS – WORKPLACE INCIDENT)

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that I inform you of the untimely passing of our fellow member, Cde Elliot Ndira, who worked at Turnall Holdings.
Cde Elliot tragically lost his life in a workplace incident on Tuesday, 4th August. It is suspected that he fell from a height while on duty. Colleagues discovered him lying on the ground and immediately mobilized for an ambulance. He was subsequently admitted to Parirenyatwa Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where he sadly succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday (5th August).
At the time of this communication, Turnall Holdings has not yet issued an official statement regarding this fatal incident. We are closely monitoring the situation and will keep the membership updated on any developments regarding investigations and employer responsiveness.
Our thoughts and solidarity are with Cde Elliot’s family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. We call on the company to act transparently and ensure that all necessary support is extended to the bereaved family.
We also remind all members to remain vigilant about health and safety protocols in the workplace. This tragedy underscores the urgent need for employers to uphold the highest standards of occupational safety.
Further details regarding funeral arrangements will be communicated as soon as they become available.
