Litigation Attorney position available at a well-established law firm based in Umhlanga.
Necessary requirements for the suitable applicant:
1. The candidate applying must be in possession of an LLB Degree with Post admission experience of at least a minimum of two years.
2. Must be able to travel within Kwa-Zulu natal.
3. Please note that experience in Civil Litigation, Family Law, Magistrate, High court and Debt collection is crucial.
4. Trial/arbitration and litigation savvy and experience is necessary.
5. Admission as a notary would be advantageous.
Suitability of candidate applying:
The candidate applying must be assertive and able to work well in conflict situations including being a team player. He/she must have strong computer literacy skills and just be an independent critical thinker. The candidate must be willing to work long hours in accordance with needs of the business and nature of the industry. The Candidate must be fluent in English and English writing, with a reasonable flair for penmanship, with the ability to lead evidence and cross-examine.
Salary is market related and based on experience.
