🏡 One of the greatest compliments you can receive as a real estate professional isn't a commission it's a referral.
Recently, I received an enquiry from someone whose family member had recommended me. What stood out wasn't just the referral itself, but why they felt confident reaching out.
It wasn't about one successful property sale.
It was about consistency.
It was about communication.
It was about trust.
And it was about feeling supported throughout the entire journey.
That reminded me of something we sometimes forget in real estate...
Every interaction matters.
Referrals aren't created overnight. They're earned through professionalism, honest communication, regular feedback, and genuinely caring about your clients. Long after the property has been sold, people remember how you made them feel.
This is why I believe every estate agent should understand the importance of the client lifecycle.
A well-managed Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is far more than a database. It helps you build relationships, stay consistent with follow-ups, track conversations, and deliver an exceptional client experience from the very first enquiry to long after the sale.
Your reputation isn't built when you win the listing.
It's built in every conversation that follows.
So here's my question...
If referrals are one of the strongest indicators of trust, what experience are you creating that makes someone confidently recommend you to their family and friends?
For me, the answer has always been simple:
✔️ Show up.
✔️ Communicate consistently.
✔️ Care about people.
Because your next property listing may not come from your marketing.
It may come from how well you looked after your last client.
