What you hear during the sale isn’t necessarily what you’re legally agreeing to.
The sale agreement sets out the actual terms, conditions and obligations of the parties. What was said during a viewing, a phone call or a conversation with the estate agent may not form part of that agreement.
Before you sign, make sure you understand what the contract actually says — and what it means for you.
The estate agent helps you buy the property. Your attorney helps you understand what you're actually signing up for.
Because “but the estate agent said…” is not a clause in your sale agreement.
