A few weeks ago, I was unexpectedly taken off the field and had to focus on recovery. I am pleased to share that I am now back, healthy, and fully engaged again. These past weeks have been a reminder of the importance of resilience — both personal and professional. I am grateful for the support, messages, and interest from colleagues, clients, and the broader business rescue community during this time. At Corporate Business Rescue Advisory, we remain firmly committed to delivering focused, high-quality restructuring and turnaround solutions. If anything, this period has sharpened our resolve and strengthened our perspective. We look forward to continuing our work with renewed energy and purpose.

After a full day of intense negotiation, seeing a billion-rand-plus transaction concluded with an international investor brings an immense sense of pride and accomplishment. Now the real work begins — aligning every role-player, building consensus, and securing the buy-in needed to turn a signed deal into a successful turnaround.

14 years as a Senior Business Rescue Practitioner. 176 appointments. 100% adoption of all published business rescue plans in the past 5 years.
(Business Rescue Plans presented was adopted by creditors.)

This journey has never been about numbers alone — but about the resilience of businesses, the trust of creditors, and the dedication of colleagues who walk this difficult path alongside me.

Through Covid-19, political and economic shifts, and now the rise of AI, the essence of Business Rescue has remained constant: hard work, collaboration, and integrity.

I am deeply grateful to my colleagues, friends, and family whose support has made these milestones possible. A special salute to the Business Rescue community and to for advancing our profession.

Looking ahead, my commitment is clear: to serve with energy, integrity, and common sense, and to support the next generation of practitioners as they carry this work forward.
