It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved director, Mr Malan Schutte.
Mr Schutte was the foundation upon which our firm was built and grew. Under his leadership, our practice reached great heights, and we have been privileged to have loyal staff members who have served under him for decades - a true testament to his character, leadership, and the respect he inspired.
We will always remember him as a direct and honest person. Not a day went by in the office without a joke, a prank, or his unmistakable sense of humour. He was straightforward, and you always knew where you stood with him, yet everything he said was spoken with care and genuine concern for those around him.
Above all, he was a family man who lived for his loved ones and found great peace and joy in the bushveld. He will be deeply missed, not only within our firm, but also throughout the legal community, where he was a respected opponent and a formidable and accomplished attorney.
We wish to reassure our clients that Awie Wright Attorneys will continue to operate and grow from strength to strength under the capable leadership and guidance of Mr Malan Schutte's family, including: Mrs Carien Schutte, Mrs Anei de Waal and Mr Derik Schutte.
We remain fully committed to serving our clients with the same dedication and integrity they have always known.
We kindly ask for understanding, patience, and sensitivity during this difficult time. Although the passing of a loved one is never easy, we tried to be as prepared as possible.
