Meet our Founder:
Dr Luvuyo Bono is a highly accomplished labour law expert with a B. Juris, LL.B, LL.M, and LL.D qualifications. With over 30 years of experience, he served as a Senior Commissioner at the CCMA and founded E Lawyers in 2001 — a forward-thinking practice focused on modern labour relations in the digital era, including POPI compliance, electronic policies, facilitations, disciplinary processes, and building collaborative workplace partnerships while actively practising law.
He currently serves as Chairperson of the Education Labour Relations Council (ELRC), practices as an Advocate (admitted 2000), has lectured law in various Universitites and is an Adjunct Professor at Nelson Mandela University. He sits on the Labour Court and Labour Appeal Rules Board. Known for facilitating major national wage negotiations and involvement in high-level inquiries, Dr. Bono is passionate about creating productive, harmonious workplaces that benefit both employers and employees.
