𝘊𝘢𝘯 𝘐 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘈𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘶𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨?

Not on your own - but South African law does allow spouses to apply to the High Court to change their matrimonial property regime after the wedding.

It's not as simple as signing a new document. It's a formal legal process, and the court needs to be satisfied that the change is justified and that no creditors will be prejudiced by it.

If your circumstances have changed since you got married, it's worth finding out whether this route could work for you.
