DISCIPLINE IN THE WORKPLACE!

🚨 POOR DISCIPLINE DOESN’T START WITH A WARNING — IT STARTS WITH WHAT YOU ALLOW.

Late coming.
Repeated absenteeism.
Ignoring instructions.
Poor performance.
Disrespectful behaviour.
Rules being applied inconsistently.

When these behaviours are ignored, they don’t simply disappear — they become the new standard.

Effective workplace discipline is not about being harsh or looking for reasons to punish employees.

It’s about clear expectations, consistent management and fair processes.

✅ Address problems early
✅ Set clear expectations
✅ Apply workplace policies consistently
✅ Give employees an opportunity to respond
✅ Follow fair and appropriate procedures
✅ Document important steps
✅ Hold people accountable
✅ Recognise improvement

Good discipline protects more than your business. It protects your team, your culture and your productivity.

If workplace discipline is becoming a challenge in your business, don’t wait until a small problem becomes a serious one.
