Dear Valued Client

RE: Lock down: 27 March 2020 to 16 April 2020

This post serves as confirmation that both myself and Mrs Soné Bester are available during this time of national lock-down to communicate and assist in as far as this may be possible, via electronic mail.

Please note that the regulations issued by the President are very clear in that only urgent matters may be enrolled during this period and in this regard, please note that “urgency” in legal terms, has its own strict requirements that have to be met to qualify.

As such, and though we appreciate that each client’s matter is urgent and requires professional and legal input, we will regrettably not be able to proceed with your pending matter in court at this time as it will likely not meet the strict requirements of urgency.

However, we urge you to stay in contact with us should any further developments emerge in your matter so we may, in each case, determine if the matter has become urgent.

Lastly, I invite our clients again to stay in contact with us via electronic mail. We will respond and assist with advice as far as practically possible.

Yours faithfully

Nina Botha
Director
