17. Lawyers don't "ask for remedies from court"; They pray.

18. Lawyers don't "bribe judicial officers" HELL NO😆😆 They protect the interests of their client.

19. Lawyers don't apply court to "postpone cases"; They seek an adjournment them.

20. Lawyers don't "find solutions"; They seek remedies.

21. Lawyers "know" everything; what you think they don't know is "what they have not applied their minds to".

22. Lawyers don't "go on" ; They proceed.

23. Lawyers don't "refuse"; They object.

24. Lawyers don't "ask court to take a step"; They move for a certain remedy.

25. Lawyers don't "leave an issue"; They abandon it.

26. Lawyers are not "wordy"; They articulate their points.

27. Lawyers don't "find solutions"; They resolve issues.

28. Lawyers call themselves among "lay men"(all other professions and non professionals); They refer to each other as "Learned Friends".

29. Lawyers don't "disagree" with each other; They just differ.

30. Lawyers don't "seek help" from court; They seek redress.

31. Lawyers don't "speak" in court; They address court.

32. Lawyers don't "agree" to what someone has said; They associate themselves with it.

33. Lawyers don't say evidence is "irrelevant or useless"; They say it is immaterial.

34. Lawyers don't "arrive" in court; They enter appearance.

35. Lawyers don't "go" to a judge; They appear before him or her.

36. Lawyers don't "die" 😎😎They relocate to God's domicile...🤷🏼‍♂🤷🏼‍♂

37. Lawyers are never "late"; They get delayed.

38. Lawyers don't "disagree" with somebody's opinion; They dissociate themselves from it.

42. Lawyers don't say something is "the same"; They say it is parimateria.

43. Lawyers don't say someone is "responsible"; They say he/she is liable.

44. Lawyers don't "explain" what they have said; They substantiate it.

45. Lawyers don't "tell lies"; They give a different version.

′′Let go the people who are not prepared to love you. This is the hardest thing you will have to do in your life and it will also be the most important thing. Stop having hard conversations with people who don't want change.

Stop showing up for people who have no interest in your presence. I know your instinct is to do everything to earn the appreciation of those around you, but it's a boost that steals your time, energy, mental and physical health.

When you begin to fight for a life with joy, interest and commitment, not everyone will be ready to follow you in this place. This doesn't mean you need to change what you are, it means you should let go of the people who aren't ready to accompany you.

If you are excluded, insulted, forgotten or ignored by the people you give your time to, you don't do yourself a favor by continuing to offer your energy and your life. The truth is that you are not for everyone and not everyone is for you.

That's what makes it so special when you meet people who reciprocate love. You will know how precious you are.

The more time you spend trying to make yourself loved by someone who is unable to, the more time you waste depriving yourself of the possibility of this connection to someone else.

There are billions of people on this planet and many of them will meet with you at your level of interest and commitment.

The more you stay involved with people who use you as a pillow, a background option or a therapist for emotional healing, the longer you stay away from the community you want.

Maybe if you stop showing up, you won't be wanted. Maybe if you stop trying, the relationship will end. Maybe if you stop texting your phone will stay dark for weeks. That doesn't mean you ruined the relationship, it means the only thing holding it back was the energy that only you gave to keep it. This is not love, it's attachment. It's wanting to give a chance to those who don't deserve it. You deserve so much, there are people who should not be in your life.

The most valuable thing you have in your life is your time and energy, and both are limited. When you give your time and energy, it will define your existence.

When you realize this, you begin to understand why you are so anxious when you spend time with people, in activities, places or situations that don't suit you and shouldn't be around you, your energy is stolen.

You will begin to realize that the most important thing you can do for yourself and for everyone around you is to protect your energy more fiercely than anything else. Make your life a safe haven, in which only ′′compatible′′ people are allowed.

You are not responsible for saving anyone. You are not responsible for convincing them to improve. It's not your work to exist for people and give your life to them! If you feel bad, if you feel compelled, you will be the root of all your problems, fearing that they will not return the favours you have granted. It's your only obligation to realize that you are the love of your destiny and accept the love you deserve.

Decide that you deserve true friendship, commitment, true and complete love with healthy and prosperous people. Then wait and see how much everything begins to change. Don't waste time with people who are not worth it. Change will give you the love, the esteem, happiness and the protection you deserve."

Today we aren’t talking about surrogacy agreements , adoption applications , infertility specialist costs and agreements , social worker and a family advocate interventions , Hague Convention considerations and the list goes on...

Today we salute all the women who walk through our doors searching for help.

We see you!

To the woman in target walking by the baby clothes, softly touching everything you pass with your fingertips; but continuing to walk by without buying anything ... I see you

To the woman at the baby shower who slips into the bathroom to hold back the tears and walks back out with a smile on her face... I see you

To the woman at the grocery store seeing the pregnant teenager, and the woman shopping mid day with 5 kids in and around the cart; and thinking why not me?! ... I see you

To the woman sitting in her car a little longer than necessary parked at the fertility clinic, before walking in for another appointment or treatment, because nothing good has happened there yet... I see you

To the woman who prays every morning, every night, and a little harder every Sunday at church for a baby that hasn’t come... I see you

To the woman who has the heart of a warrior, and will never give up hope... I see you

The provisions of section 21(2)(a) of the Matrimonial Property Act 88 of 1984 (‘the MPA’) declared unconstitutional and invalid to the extent that they maintain and perpetuate the discrimination.
This is an important judgement to those spouses married under the BAA.
Effect:
Your marriage is now not automatically out of community of property and the regime is now in line with all other marriages. Should you want to be married out of community of property, an antenuptial contract( ANC) is required.

Here is the order :

“On application for confirmation of an order of constitutional invalidity granted by the High Court of South Africa, KwaZulu-Natal Local Division, Durban:
1. The provisions of section 21(2)(a) of the Matrimonial Property Act 88 of 1984 (‘the MPA’) are hereby declared unconstitutional and invalid to the extent that they maintain and perpetuate the discrimination created by section 22(6) of the Black Administration Act 38 of 1927 (‘the BAA’), and thereby maintain the default position of marriages of black couples, entered into under the Black Administration Act before the 1988 amendment, that such marriages are automatically out of community of property.
2. All marriages of black persons that are out of community of property and were concluded under section 22(6) of the Black Administration Act before the 1988 amendment are, save for those couples who opt for a marriage out of community of property, hereby declared to be marriages in community of property.
3. Spouses who have opted for marriage out of community of property shall, in writing, notify the Director-General of the Department of Home Affairs accordingly.
4. In the event of disagreement, either spouse in a marriage which becomes a marriage in community of property in terms of the declaration in paragraph 2, may apply to the High Court for an order that the marriage shall be out of community of property, notwithstanding that declaration.
5. In terms of section 172(1) (b) of the Constitution, the orders in paragraphs 1 and 2 shall not affect the legal consequences of any act done or omission in relation to a marriage before this order was made.
6. From the date of this order, Chapter 3 of the Matrimonial Property Act will apply in respect of all marriages that have been converted to marriages in community of property, unless the affected couple has opted out in
accordance with the procedure set out in paragraph 3 above.
7. Any person with a material interest who is adversely affected by this order,
may approach the High Court for appropriate relief.
8. The second respondent is ordered to pay the costs of this application and such
costs to include the costs of two counsel, where so employed.
9. It is ordered that the first respondent’s attorney, Mr Dlamini, should forfeit
his legal fees in respect of this application.”
