# Social Media Manager
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
• Highly prestigious boutique PR Company is looking for a Social Media Manager.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s interactions with the public by implementing their social media platforms’ content strategies.
Duties and responsibilities
• Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
• Manage and oversee social media content
• Measure the success of every social media campaign
• Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
• Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
• Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
• Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
• Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels and adapting content to suit different channels and audiences
• Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Buffer, Asana and Later
• Create and/or coordinate original and engaging multimedia content across multiple social platforms
• Develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote the Company as a leading brand
• Form key relationships with influencers across social media platforms
• Undertake audience research
• monitor, track, analyze and report on performance on social media platforms
• Identify consumer trends to help with planning social media campaigns
• Optimize content to further encourage community interaction and engagement
• Research and evaluate the latest tools and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
• Analyze competitor activity
• Manage and track budgets for social media activities
Requirements and qualifications
• 10 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
• BSC Degree in Marketing, BSC Degree in Digital Marketing or relevant field
• Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
• Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
• Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
• Good understanding of social media KPIs
• Familiarity with web design and publishing
