Small businesses, whether a sole proprietor, business trust, close corporation or private company, no longer have an exemption (based on turnover) from having a PAIA Manual in terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act. This means you are obliged to have a PAIA Manual in place by 31 December 2021.
