Taking prescription medication overseas? A little preparation can save you from serious delays, confiscation or legal problems at the border.
✅ DO:
• Keep all medication in its original pharmacy packaging with labels intact.
• Pack essential medication in your hand luggage.
• Carry a doctor’s letter and prescription showing your name, medication, dosage and travel dates.
• Check the rules for liquid medication, especially if it exceeds 100 ml.
• Check the medication laws of every country you are visiting or transiting through.
🚫 DON’T:
• Put tablets into unlabelled pill organisers before travelling.
• Assume medication that is legal in South Africa is legal everywhere.
• Buy replacement medication from unverified suppliers overseas.

😂✈️ FRIDAY FUNNIES: THE SMOKING “UPGRADE” NOBODY ASKED FOR!

He thought the airplane lavatory was the perfect place for just one quick smoke. 🚬

Plot twist: the smoke alarm had other plans. 🔥🚨

One little cigarette turned into:
🚨 Smoke alarm activated
💦 Firefighters called in
🩲 Emergency wardrobe malfunction
😂 A very public walk of shame
✈️ And a one-way trip from Economy Class to… EMBARRASSMENT CLASS!

Jokes aside, there’s a serious lesson here: smoking or va**ng in an aircraft lavatory is extremely dangerous and prohibited. Aircraft have smoke detectors and strict safety procedures because even a small fire onboard can become a major emergency.

So, fellow travelers… save the ci******es for the ground. Your fellow passengers, the cabin crew, and your dignity will thank you. 😎
