What are the steps in the Trade Mark Registration process?

Step 1 Application for registration of your trade mark is made to the Registrar by our team of attorneys.

Step 2 Official Action: The Registrar either accepts; accepts subject to amendments, modifications, conditions, or limitations; provisionally refuses.

Step 3 Upon acceptance of your trade mark we advertise in the Patent Journal.

Step 4 There is a three-month waiting period where a third party can oppose the registration of your trade mark.

Step 5 If there is no opposition, you will receive a Trade Mark Registration Certificate.

Step 6 Registration is valid for 10 years and is renewable every 10 years.
