🚨 MUDZINGANYAMA CASE POSTPONED

The LLE was in the court today in support of the victims against the ruthless criminal Lawrence Chamurwa Mudzinganyama, The case has been postponed to 30 October 2026 for a trial date to be determined after the State provided the defence with the docket.

He faces 10 charges, including intimidation, assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm, crimen injuria and fraud, relating to an alleged incident at Vlamo Restaurant in Randburg.

Mudzinganyama remains on R15,000 bail, subject to court-imposed conditions.

The matter remains before the court, and the charges have not been proven

for workers!!!

🚨KAGISO YOUTH RISE AGAINST UNEMPLOYMENT AND EXPLOITATION!🚨

LLE Gauteng Provincial Convenor, Cde Hadebe, addressing the youth of Kagiso during a march to Leratong City Mall.

The youth are raising serious concerns about unemployment and recruitment practices at the mall. They allege that undocumented foreign nationals are being prioritised for employment, while local young people struggle to access job opportunities. They also question the employment of foreign nationals whose skills and work authorisation they believe should be properly verified.

Even more disturbing are allegations that some young people seeking employment are asked for sexual favours or bribes in exchange for job opportunities.

The LLE demands fair and transparent recruitment processes, proper verification of work permits, and an end to sexual exploitation and bribery in employment. Our youth deserve equal opportunities, dignity, and a fair chance to build their future.

SPAR Matatiele faces allegations of workplace harassment, unfair remuneration, and unsafe working conditions.

* Manager Ayanda is accused of victimising female employees who reject his romantic advances.
* Employees with over 15 years of service reportedly earn the same as those employed for only three months.
* Reabetswe was allegedly required to work during fumigation, risking exposure to harmful chemicals.
* Cold-room workers reportedly lack proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

🚨THE LLE (Gauteng) WESTRAND MARCH 🚨

The Labour Laws Enforcement (LLE) will be marching for change in Westrand.

The aim of this march is clear: to fight the exploitation of workers and demand compliance with South Africa’s Labour Laws.

No company is above the law.
No business owner is above the Constitution of the Republic.
No employer is above the Labour Laws.

We also demand that employment laws concerning foreign nationals are properly enforced. No person should be employed unlawfully without the required legal documentation or work authorisation.

We are going to Westrand with full force to demand JOBS, fair treatment, decent working conditions and dignity for workers.

🚨 LLE MALVERN HOME CHILD & YOUTH CARE CENTRE PICKET 🚨

The Labour Laws Enforcement (LLE) has picketed at Malvern Home Child & Youth Care Centre, demanding an end to what employees describe as exploitation and unfair treatment allegedly involving the pastor of Africa Praise Ministries.

The Department of Social Development Acting District Director came to the Home, listened to the grievances raised by employees and committed to establishing a team to investigate the allegations.

The Department has also indicated that the suspension and termination of employment that employees allege were unlawfully implemented will be placed on hold pending the investigation.

However, the LLE remains concerned that the pastor is still on duty while the investigation is taking place. We believe that appropriate precautionary measures should be considered to ensure that the investigation is conducted fairly, independently and without interference.

The LLE represents the workers who dedicate themselves to caring for the children at the Home.

When workers are treated with dignity and respect, they are better able to provide the care and support that children deserve.

The LLE will continue to monitor the investigation and engage with the Department of Social Development until the workers’ grievances are properly addressed.

The Church will be visited for more!!!

🚨 LABOUR LAWS ENFORCEMENT — TONGAAT MARCH POSTPONED 🚨

It is with regret that we announce the postponement of tomorrow’s Tongaat March, which was scheduled to take place in Tongaat.

Due to the heavy rain forecast for tomorrow, we have taken the decision to postpone the march to ensure the safety of all comrades, workers and participants.

📢 A new date will be announced soon.

The postponement does NOT mean we are backing down. The Labour Laws Enforcement (LLE) remains committed to fighting for workers’ rights, dignity and proper enforcement of labour laws.

🚨 LLE AT MALVERN HOME CHILD & YOUTH CARE CENTRE 🚨

The Labour Laws Enforcement (LLE) is currently engaging in a picket at Malvern Home Child & Youth Care Centre following serious concerns raised regarding the pastor who is the CEO of the facility.

Concerns brought to the LLE include allegations that a pastor associated with Africa Praise Ministries has assumed significant control within the Home, including allegations of family members being employed and concerns regarding the use and management of funds intended for the benefit and welfare of the children.

The LLE is calling on the Department of Social Development to urgently act on these allegations, provide accountability and ensure that the interests, safety and welfare of the children remain the priority.

The children come first. Accountability must prevail.
