LLE Gauteng Visits Bedford View

The LLE Gauteng leadership visited Bedford View and formally presented management with a list of demands.

These demands include the removal of undocumented foreign workers, the proper registration of all employees, and ensuring that workers are paid fairly and in accordance with applicable labour laws.

LLE gave management seven days to address these concerns and remedy the alleged violations.

That seven-day period has now expired. It is time for LLE to return, assess the progress made, and ensure that the commitments provided by management are being implemented.

VLogiq Trucking Under LLE Investigation

Yesterday, Labour Laws Enforcement (LLE) leadership visited VLogiq Trucking, operating from a farm in Cato Ridge, following serious complaints from employees.

Workers reported that they are not being paid accordingly and that the company allegedly only requires a bank account when employing workers, without properly collecting identification or providing employment documentation. This raises serious questions about whether these workers are properly registered and accounted for in terms of applicable labour requirements.

Workers also reported receiving the same pay for local trips and long-distance trips, despite the significant differences in the nature and demands of the work.

There are also concerns surrounding the nature of the goods being transported. LLE will investigate these concerns through it intelligence and get to the bottom of the matter.

No company should believe it can operate above the law. As long as Labour Laws Enforcement exists, we will continue standing with workers, exposing non-compliance and demanding accountability.

LLE — Workers’ Rights. Labour Laws. Enforcement.

🚨 LLE TAKES ACTION AT NEW PARK FARM – CATORIDGE 🚨

Today, Labour Laws Enforcement (LLE) visited New Park Farm in Catoridge, which also operates a trucking company called VLogic Trucking.

LLE received serious complaints regarding alleged labour-law violations, including the employment of undocumented foreign nationals, workers being underpaid, employees—both local and foreign—working without contracts or payslips, and unpaid overtime.

LLE is concerned that the companies are not complying with applicable labour laws and will continue engaging on behalf of affected workers.

📢 LLE will announce the date for the picket outside the farm.

LLE is on the side of workers. We will continue fighting for fair treatment, decent wages and compliance with labour laws.

Engagement with principle. Enforcement with purpose.

LLE has chosen dialogue over confrontation but not at the expense of workers’ rights, dignity, or lawful employment standards.

Tomorrow’s engagement with BnB Aluminium is an opportunity to resolve the grievances through meaningful action. We remain firm: compliance is not optional, workers’ rights are not negotiable, and dignity in the workplace is a legal and moral obligation.

LLE — Where workers’ rights are challenged, we stand ready to enforce them. ✊🏿
