⚠️ HOW ARE RISKS RATED DURING HIRA?

Identifying a hazard is only the first step. A Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) also helps determine how serious the risk is.

Risk is commonly rated by considering:
🔹 Likelihood — How likely is the incident to happen?
🔹 Severity — How serious could the consequences be?

These factors are used to determine the risk rating which helps organizations prioritize which hazards need attention first.

📋 Identify it. Assess it. Control it.

A good HIRA helps turn hazards into informed safety actions. 🦺
