About 8 June…
True Capetonians, we showed up despite the heavy rains and bad weather. We showed up for ourselves, our children, our families and our communities.
It was heartwarming to see you all lean into the difficult topics shared. It was encouraging to hear the engagement that was taking place both in the room and online. Thank you for the contributions you made and to those who were vulnerable in sharing some of your story, together we could hold space for the much needed conversation and begin to heal. Much of the feedback from you all has been overwhelming. That is transformation, when we are moved to confront our pain, brave to share and courageous to do whatever it takes to heal.
Thank you to the Ambassadors who made sure our tummies were warmed with delicious soup and sandwiches.
We are humbled to have shared this dialogue with you - heartfelt thank you!
For those who joined us either online or in person and hasn't filled in a feedback form, please kindly fill it in for us, it helps the core team shape and plan future dialogues. Here is the link: https://forms.gle/p9wvMsF4GkomF6oM9
With the generosity of our Ambassadors, Guest Speakers, Quicket, Social Justice Foundation, JDI, Tek Solutions Online and Vredelust Gemeente; we are able to host these gatherings bringing closer those who need this space the most. We thank you, we are humbled to be joining hands with you in this movement. 💛
PS: if you haven't booked your seat for the dialogue on Women’s Month, head over to Quicket and get your ticket, you don't want to miss this one: https://qkt.io/pyE8vK
