Ethics provides a guideline on what is the right thing to do in all aspects of life setting the maximum standard for human behavior.

The Law, sets out specific standards for order to be maintained.

The Law helps codify ethics to a certain extent by its embodiment of ethical principals, but we cannot ignore that the Law is also sometimes unethical.

Therefore, there can never be a clear delineation.

What we do know, is that the Law cannot be without ethics, and ethical principals alone cannot be without the Law.
