Focused, driven, and forward-thinking, Riaz Ebrahim brings a strong sense of purpose to his role as Sales Manager. Q:What motivated you to pursue your current role?
A:What really drew me in was the CEO’s vision. It’s not often you come across a business that’s genuinely trying to shake things up in the industry while still staying focused on growth and expansion. With my years in insurance, I’ve seen how things are usually done, so the opportunity to be part of something fresh, ambitious, and forward-thinking was hard to pass up.
Q:How would you describe the company culture in three words?
A:Driven, vibrant, disruptive.
Q:How do you stay motivated during challenging times at work?
A:I remind myself why I started in the first place and the bigger picture we’re working towards. Having been in the industry for a while, I know challenges come with the territory, but being part of a team that’s pushing boundaries keeps me going. Also, a strong support system at home helps me stay grounded and focused.
Q:If you could pick up a new skill in an instant, what would it be?
A:I’d probably go with something completely different from work, maybe learning to cook like a professional chef. I enjoy trying new food, so being able to create it myself at that level would be a bonus.
Q:What’s your favorite way to unwind after a long day?
A:Spending time with my family is number one. Whether it’s just catching up at home, planning our next holiday, or heading out to try a new restaurant, that’s my reset. And if there’s a game on, you’ll definitely find me supporting Manchester United.
Q:What advice would you give to someone considering joining Future Green Dot?
A:Come in with an open mind and be ready to embrace change. This isn’t the kind of place where you just follow the usual playbook, it’s fast-moving, ambitious, and always looking for better ways to do things. If you enjoy being challenged, taking initiative, and being part of something that’s growing quickly, you’ll fit right in.
