67 Minutes of Service. A Lasting Impact. 💛🖤❤️
This Nelson Mandela Day, the team at De Wet Leitch Hands Incorporated proudly dedicated our 67 minutes to making a meaningful difference in our community. Together, we stocked the pantry at Summerhill House with essential food items to help support the incredible work they do every day.
Summerhill House, based near Ballito in KwaZulu-Natal, is a registered non-profit organisation that provides holistic care for vulnerable, orphaned and abandoned children through both its family-style children’s village and its community upliftment initiatives. Their mission extends beyond providing shelter—they create loving family environments, support education, feed families in need, and empower children and communities to thrive.
Inspired by Nelson Mandela’s belief that “it is in your hands to make the world a better place,” we were honoured to contribute by ensuring their pantry is well stocked with everyday essentials. Our donation is a small gesture of gratitude for the life-changing work Summerhill House continues to do for children and families in our community.
At De Wet Leitch Hands Incorporated, we believe that serving our community goes beyond the courtroom. Nelson Mandela Day reminds us that every act of kindness, no matter how big or small, has the power to create hope and lasting change.
Thank you to Summerhill House for allowing us to be part of your journey, and to everyone who continues to make a difference through service.
“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others.” – Nelson Mandela
