Call Australia Home Migration is one of the first supporter to ensure a gene pool for rhinos was secured in Australia (South Australia). Since then, these rhinos have had babies, adding to the gene pool.

We continue to support efforts to save rhinos. While the full moon is beautiful, we know rhinos will die that night because of the full moon light. Each full moon is a blood moon for rhinos!

Under the 2022-23 migration program, Western Australia has announced that it will accept applications from overseas skilled migrants and the number of occupations available in the Graduate stream will be increased to just over 330.

From 1/7/22 there are very generous permanent residency (PR) pathways for:
- sc475 visa holders, and for some, age exemptions;
- PR pathways for STSOL occupation list sc457 visa holders;
- 'grandparenting' has a new sunrise after the 18/3/22 sunset clause;
- those affected by COVID (reduced work, reduced hours) only needing 1Y6M in their nominated position with their sponsor;
- PR for certain people who were in Australia for 12 months between 1/2/2020 and 14/12/2021 who were in full time employment in Australia

This must be one of the most generous pieces of skilled legislation yet announced by the Federal Government.

The subclass 887 visa is not subject to priority processing arrangements, including claims of employment in a critical sector. We are currently assessing applications lodged before September 2020.

COVID-19 concessions
As of 19 September 2020, COVID-19 concessions are available to eligible prospective Skilled – Regional visa (subclass 887) applicants in relation to both lodgement and visa eligibility requirements, as specified on the Department’s website.
