📌LIKON represented actress Nguyen Thuy Anh in a NDA dispute at VIAC

LIKON is pleased to announce that we have secured a favorable arbitral award before the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), representing the Respondent, actress Nguyen Thuy Anh, in a dispute arising out of a film production cooperation agreement in the media and entertainment sector.

The dispute arose from the ex*****on of the agreement, which gave rise to allegations of breach of confidentiality obligations and claims for damages. During the arbitration proceedings, our team developed and advanced comprehensive legal arguments demonstrating the absence of actionable breaches, the causal link to asserted losses, and the appropriate legal basis for assessing liability under the contract and applicable law.

The Arbitral Tribunal, after careful consideration of all submissions, partially accepted our arguments and dismissed the unfounded claims for damages presented by the Claimant. The award clarifies the parties’ respective rights and obligations under the agreement and affirms protections afforded to our client under the governing legal framework.

📌LIKON đại diện diễn viên Nguyễn Thuỳ Anh tham gia giải quyết tranh chấp về thoả thuận bảo mật tại VIAC

LIKON trân trọng thông báo rằng chúng tôi đã bảo vệ thành công và đạt được phán quyết trọng tài có lợi tại Trung tâm Trọng tài Quốc tế Việt Nam (VIAC), với tư cách là luật sư đại diện cho Bị đơn – diễn viên Nguyễn Thùy Anh – trong một vụ tranh chấp phát sinh từ hợp đồng hợp tác sản xuất phim thuộc lĩnh vực truyền thông và giải trí.

Vụ việc phát sinh trong quá trình thực hiện hợp đồng hợp tác sản xuất phim với các cáo buộc liên quan đến hành vi vi phạm nghĩa vụ bảo mật thông tin và yêu cầu bồi thường thiệt hại. Trong suốt quá trình giải quyết tranh chấp, chúng tôi đã tập trung làm rõ bản chất sự việc, đánh giá đầy đủ yếu tố cấu thành hành vi vi phạm, mối quan hệ nhân quả và căn cứ phát sinh trách nhiệm bồi thường theo quy định của hợp đồng và pháp luật.

Kết thúc quá trình tố tụng, Hội đồng Trọng tài đã chấp nhận một phần yêu cầu chúng tôi và bác bỏ những yêu cầu bồi thường thiệt hại không có căn cứ từ phía nguyên đơn. Phán quyết đã làm rõ quyền và nghĩa vụ của các bên theo Hợp đồng, đồng thời bảo đảm quyền lợi hợp pháp cho khách hàng.
