👀 Quick tip!
Cham-oe, the character of the “Seoul Without Loneliness” initiative,
is a play on the Korean phrase 'Cham oe-rop-da' (which means “Truly lonely”), which sounds just like the word for Korean melon (Cham-oe). We’re turning 'melon-choly' into something sweet and shared!
It reflects Seoul’s effort to gently comfort loneliness with warmth and care 💛
