20 Years of Legacy, Carried Forward | Indochine Counsel’s 20th Anniversary
Twenty years ago, Indochine Counsel began its journey in a Vietnam full of change, ambition and possibility.
Since 2006, we have witnessed the transformation of Vietnam’s legal and commercial landscape, the emergence of new industries, the expansion of domestic and international investment, and the growing ambitions of businesses operating in this market.
Through these changes, Indochine Counsel has grown alongside the businesses we serve, helping them navigate legal complexities, manage risks, seize opportunities and move forward with confidence.
But twenty years of Indochine Counsel is about much more than the passage of time or the work we have accomplished.
It is a story of people, shared values and relationships built over the years. Of clients who have placed their trust in us through important business decisions. Of colleagues, past and present, whose dedication, expertise and commitment have shaped the firm we are today. And of partnerships and friendships that have endured through different chapters of our journey.
This spirit has been at the heart of our 20th anniversary celebrations.
Our celebrations began on 18 September with the Client Seminar – Vietnam’s Next Growth Era, bringing together business, investment and legal perspectives to explore the opportunities and challenges shaping Vietnam’s future. The discussions reaffirmed our commitment to understanding the evolving business landscape and supporting our clients as they navigate what lies ahead.
On 16 October, we turned our attention to the people and relationships behind our journey at the Gala Dinner – The Counsel Continuum. Surrounded by colleagues, alumni, long-standing clients and friends of the firm, we reflected on the moments that shaped our past, celebrated the bonds that have stood the test of time, and honoured those who continue to carry our legacy forward.
Two celebrations, each reflecting a different but equally important part of who we are: the businesses we serve and the people who have built Indochine Counsel.
Today, 18 October 2026, as we officially mark our 20th anniversary, we look back with gratitude and forward with renewed purpose.
To everyone who has been part of our journey, thank you. Your trust, contributions and continued support have helped shape our legacy, and we are proud to carry it forward with you.
Twenty years is a milestone worth celebrating. But more importantly, it is the foundation for everything we aspire to build next.
As Vietnam enters new phases of growth and transformation, Indochine Counsel looks ahead with the experience of our past, the strength of our people and relationships, and the ambition to evolve alongside the businesses we serve.
