𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐎𝐅 “𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐂 𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓 𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐀”
1. Tourist who have come on DL Visa (Tourist Visa), Evisa or waiver from March 1st , 2020 are now “automatically extended residence permit: june 30th , 2020 and may exit Vietnam during above period without having to carry out procedures for extending visa.
In case of entry before March 1, 2020: if proven to be stuck due to Covid – 19, certified by the diplomatic mission through a diplomatic note (with Vietnamese authorities on quarantine, Covid-19 treatment or other uncontrollable reasons… are also considered to apply “automatic axtension of temporary stay” until June 30, 2020 and must present Official note or confirmation of above when on Exit.
(for Case arrival in Vietnam before 1 March, if they want to automatic extend. they must to contact with their embassy 15 days before their visa run out for their assistance.)
2. Foreign national during the “automatically extended temporary residence” period must declare temporary residence and medical declaration as prescribed”
3. Foreign national who are not subject to the provisions of Section 1 of this Notice or commit other law violations of shall comply with the current provision of Vietnamese law.

1)TOURIST VISA . Foreigners who currently having DL Visa (Tourist Visa), Foreigners who visited Vietnam from March 1st , 2020 , They can stay in Vietnam up to June 30, 2020 with renewing the visa or without visa .
But if you want to stay for long time ( July, August, September Months) i.e after June 30 2020. Then you need to apply for the visa extension for you extra stay .
There is no need for to apply for the visa extension if you leave from Vietnam before June 30 , 2020.

3. Foreigners those TEMPORARY RESIDENCE CARD Or WORK PERMIT or VISA EXEMPTION is going to expire by this month , You can apply for the RENEWAL or EXTENSION NOW.
4. Foreign national who are not subject to the provisions of Section 1 of this Notice or commit other law violations of shall comply with the current provision of Vietnamese law.
Please Note : Staying in Vietnam without proper visa after June 30 2020 is Illegal . You maybe Banned to visit again or you need to pay the fine quite alot of money . So to avoid this circumstance.
