Does your college student have a power of attorney (POA)?

Remember now that your baby is an adult you have no access to their cell phone, email, banking information, medical records, etc.  I understand they are adults but they may still need our help. Understand this, if they are involved in an accident or become incapacitated, they will need your help and in order to help you will need a POA. Because they you’re an adult you cannot help, even if they are your child without a POA. 

Legally, they are not your baby anymore.

We typically assist kids this time of year in preparing a power of attorney to help them as they go off to college or life after graduation.

Bedlam Law is closed as we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

What a weekend! We had the absolute best time getting out in the community! 🎉

We were thrilled to be back at Festival of the Child for another incredible year! There is truly nothing like family fun, laughter, and great memories. We love this event every single year! 😊

The Bedlam Law crew also made its way to El Reno Burger Day for a day packed with cool cars, amazing burgers, and even better people. So many great conversations and new faces, it never gets old!

🚗 Heading to Festival of the Child? Here’s Everything You Need to Know About Parking!

We can’t wait to see you tomorrow! To make your arrival as smooth as possible, we’ve designated several public parking zones. Please take a moment to review the parking map before you head out.

Where to Park: Based on the event layout, public parking is available in the following areas: (see attached map)

1. Yukon Community Center Parking Lot – Ideal for those arriving from the highway. Closest walk to the event entrance.

2. Large Gazebo Lot @ Chisholm Trail Park– A short walk to the event entrance. (Shuttle Service available 9:30 AM-4:30 PM)

3. Oklahoma Parking Lot @ Chisholm Trail Park (Shuttle Service available 9:30 AM-4:30 PM)

4. Overflow Parking West of the Oklahoma Lot: (Shuttle Service available 9:30 AM-4:30 PM)

Where Not to Park:
🚨Freedom Trail Parking Lot- CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC

Pro-Tips for a Smooth Arrival:
👉Arrive Early: We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the event starts to secure a spot and avoid the rush.
👉Follow the Signs: Look for the Shuttle blade flags and directional signage for easy navigation.
👉Carpool if You Can: Help us reduce traffic congestion and save space by riding with friends!

Pedestrian Safety: Once you’ve parked, please use designated walking paths and crosswalks to reach the event entrance safely.
