Celebrating 250 Years of the American Story

As we approach this milestone 4th of July, we find ourselves reflecting on the incredible journey of our nation. Celebrating 250 years is a powerful moment to look back, acknowledge how far we have come, and commit to the work still ahead.

At our core, we are a nation defined by the pursuit of "a more perfect union." That pursuit has never been easy. It requires us to hold our history with both hands—honoring the triumphs of liberty and justice that define our ideals, while also honestly confronting the difficult, complex parts of our past that remind us of the progress we have yet to make.

Today, we honor that history by choosing unity over division. We remember that the strength of this country lies in our ability to listen, to learn, and to grow together.

As we look toward the future, our firm remains dedicated to the fundamental principles of justice and equality for everyone. Let’s use this anniversary as a reminder that the American promise is not something we just inherit—it is something we continue to build and advocate, together, every single day.

Today, we honor Juneteenth—a pivotal moment in American history commemorating the end of slavery and celebrating freedom, resilience, and progress. Yakima Law is closed today in observance of the holiday. We will reopen on Monday, June 22, to continue serving our clients.
