Back-to-school season is here, and many of us are welcoming it with open arms.

Summer can be wonderful, but it can also be hard. As parents, we feel guilty when work keeps us from being as present as we hoped. We want to go all in and make every summer moment magical, but the reality is that many of us are working all day while carrying the pressure to do more.

For kids who thrive around people, being away from their core group of friends can feel like a very long time. For others, the lack of routine can take a real toll on their mental health. The rhythm of the school calendar helps keep our families grounded, connected, and organized.

So, while summer is special, there is something beautiful about this new beginning too. Here’s to reconnecting with friends, settling back into a routine, and starting another amazing year.
