I really don't understand why the defense wants the only juror that voted for them to be investigated. The judge is not going to order all of the jurors to be rounded up and retry the case with them.

The State's Attorney is frustrated that we don't keep people in jail awaiting trial for non violent offenses.

Seems weird.

Seems like you would just get the case to trial and send him/her to prison if you were able to prove them guilty.
