🏡🍾Before you pop the champagne, make sure you aren’t accidentally sabotaging your closing! 🍾🏡

Closing day is so close, but the final stretch matters just as much as the first. Here are 5 things you absolutely shouldn’t do before you hand over the keys:

1️⃣ **Don’t stop the lawn care:** Curb appeal matters until the very last minute! Don’t let the grass get out of control just because you’re moving. And if it snowed, remove it from driveways and walkways.
2️⃣ **Don’t take items that need to stay:** If it’s attached to the house (fixtures, appliances, hardware), it stays with the house. Avoid those awkward closing day disputes!
3️⃣ **Don’t shut off utilities:** Keep the lights and water on until the transfer date. Buyers need to do their final walkthrough, and the house needs lights & water on.
4️⃣ **Don’t leave a mess:** Treat the next homeowner like you’d want to be treated. A house empty of trash, dirt, and personal items makes for an stress-free transition.
5️⃣ **Don’t keep secrets:** If something unexpectedly happens at the house at the eleventh hour, be upfront about it. Transparency prevents a last moment closing table scramble or a closing day delay.

❤️Finally tried Rosangelly’s in downtown Westwood, NJ and it did not disappoint! Longtime locals to Pascack Valley like myself will remember this as the former Bank of America building on the corner of Broadway — a huge and historic building that I can’t ever remember being anything else but a bank.

Now it’s a delicious spot to grab breakfast, brunch or lunch ! I ordered the Green Toast & Cappuccino, my friend got the Skillet and another friend got the Steak & Avocado Eggs. Everything was SO GOOD, so fresh — I’m sorry I didn’t get more pictures! Next time & there will be a next time! Service was great and atmosphere was beautiful! If you haven’t been there yet — go!
