We are proud to announce that our firm has filed an amicus brief in the case of Grant, et al. v. Trial Court, docket no. 25-1380, in the First Circuit. Brief at link below.

Our firm filed this brief on behalf of amici the First Amendment Lawyers Association (FALA), the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE), and the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA).

The appellants, who seek to demonstrate in relation to the second Karen Read murder trial, are challenging the trial court’s order barring demonstrations within a 200-ft. boundary of the courthouse.
The amici support the appellants’ challenge on First Amendment and Due Process grounds. This 200 Ft. Order unconstitutionally restricts both protesters and the journalists covering the trial.

Our firm stands forthright in favor of broad First Amendment and Due Process rights for all. Thank you to all who helped, and good luck to Marc Radnazza and the rest of the appellants’ legal team.
