A green card is a checkpoint. Not a finish line.
If you have one — or someone in your family does — and you’ve told yourself “that could never happen to me,” this is the part people find out too late: a lawful permanent resident is still removable. Status can be challenged. And there are people who make a living off that vulnerability.
Naturalization is the door that closes most of it.
So if you’re eligible, don’t put it off because of the filing fee, the paperwork, or the process. That hassle is the cheapest protection you will ever buy.
Eligible now? Let’s confirm it and file it right.
