It was a bit of a shock to see school buses back in the neighborhood! A pleasant surprise that back to school has arrived for so many students. MacGee Law wishes all teachers and students a wonderful and safe return to the classroom! This is also a great time to remember, it is never too late to go back to school. So, to all of the new students returning after years or maybe even decades out of the classroom, congratulations and enjoy!

While I know this is my business page, it’s time to get personal. If you follow my personal social media pages, just know you will (unapologetically) be seeing this repeatedly because it is an important message to get out there. In May, on what should have been a friend’s 49 birthday, I called to schedule my first mammogram. It is a right of passage for women in the U.S. when we turn 40, and having a friend who passed from breast cancer when she was just 47, made the call an easy one. Was I nervous? Absolutely! Did I push through and do it anyway? You bet I did! I am worth having this test done, and my lady friends, so are YOU! Many people delay screenings out of fear, but please don’t, this is your health and potentially, your life. We are lucky enough to live in a place where these screenings are normal, but there are women around the world who are not as lucky. So again, don’t let fear in, get the mammogram, it’s really not as bad as I thought it would be. Save your ta-tas, and possibly save yourself!
