Your I-130 was approved. Now what? π€
Approval of your I-130 confirms a qualifying family relationship, but it doesn't mean your green card is ready. If you're an immediate relative of a U.S. citizen, there's no annual visa limit, so your case can move forward right away. If you're in a family preference category, your case must wait until your priority date becomes current on the Visa Bulletin.
Depending on your situation, your case either moves to the National Visa Center for consular processing, or you may be able to file Form I-485 to adjust your status.
Every immigration situation is different. Consider getting professional immigration advice about your next steps.
