This week marks 30 years from when a match would change golf history... it's a week of incredible endurance as players battle to get to the final round; and in 1996, the two players left standing were Tiger Woods and Steve Scott. Steve's caddie was me, his girlfriend at the time (now wife) and Tiger's caddie was his good friend Bryon Bell. Most people remember this match because of the heroic shots each player kept exchanging to stay alive... but many don't realize it all could've ended on the 34th hole- this is where integrity and the spirit of the game had it's moment in the spotlight, but there's even more to that story- watch below:
