Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
Job Description
Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.
Manage and organize files using document management systems, ensuring easy access to important information.
Handle data entry tasks with precision, maintaining accurate records of case-related information.
Communicate effectively with clients via phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while gathering necessary information.
Schedule appointments and manage calendars for attorneys, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Participate in client interviews to gather relevant information for cases.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with legal standards.
Previous experience in a law office or legal environment is required.
Familiarity with legal drafting and document management systems such as Clio and West law is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficient in data entry and file management practices.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing individual responsibilities.
