This is the one place where micromanaging is actually a good thing. You get to decide exactly where your money goes, who looks after your kids, and who definitely doesn't touch your vintage record collection.

Not all assets go through probate.

Some are probate assets, meaning they pass through the court process and follow your will.

Others are non-probate assets, like accounts with beneficiaries or jointly owned property, which transfer automatically.

Here’s the catch… 😅

Your will doesn’t control everything.

If your accounts and ownership aren’t set up correctly, things may not go where you intended.

And like many high-net-worth individuals, he had an estate plan in place.
