I’m asking for your vote in November so I can continue the work this team has started. And I’m asking you to bring a friend with you. When that friend tells you their vote doesn’t really matter, remind them of this: in the last District Attorney election across these three counties, 76,685 people voted - and I won by just 79 votes.

Every vote matters. Your vote matters.

Thank you for your support, thank you for your trust, and thank you for allowing me the honor of serving as your District Attorney.

A District Attorney makes decisions that can change lives. Those decisions require more than knowing the law. They require experience, judgment and the ability to see the bigger picture.

As attorney and former prosecutor Larry Gulley states here, sometimes it isn’t simply about getting a conviction.
“It’s about justice.”

That is the responsibility Jeffrey Marsigli carries every day as District Attorney. Learn more about Jeffrey’s experience at www.marsigliforda.com

The Wilson Times l September 26,2026 | By Chris Long

“People are traveling up to three hours for individual treatment services,” she said, “If you are someone who has finally got to the point in your journey where you go, ‘OK, I’m going to go to the residential services, but I’ve got to go three hours away from my home.’ That’s three hours away from family. If they have visitation on the weekend, can my family come visit and see me? That is a huge deal.”

Godwin said the next steps are to continue strategic planning as a staff.

“We need to be talking together,” she said. “The big question is, is what we’re doing sustainable? We don’t want to start something and it’s only available for six months. Is it available and effective to our entire community? We want to make sure that we’re not only serving one pocket, but our entire population.”

"I am a working District Attorney. I’m not just managing spreadsheets or sitting in an office. I’m in court handling cases ranging from traffic court to murder trials and everything in between. I do that because:

1. I enjoy it.
2. I believe leadership means never asking your team to do something you wouldn’t do yourself.

I’m asking for your vote in November so I can continue the work this team has started. And I’m asking you to bring a friend with you. When that friend tells you their vote doesn’t really matter, remind them of this: in the last District Attorney election across these three counties, 76,685 people voted - and I won by just 79 votes."

Every vote matters. Your vote impacts roughly 254,000 people across District 8.

"Our office becomes involved the moment a case is charged and from that point on, people rely on us to move the process forward fairly, efficiently, and responsibly. When I ran for this office three years ago, I made a promise. I said I believed in participation, partnership, and being proactive. I said we would fight crime together, not from behind a desk, but shoulder to shoulder with law enforcement and the community. And that’s exactly how I’ve approached this role.

I’m asking for your vote in November so I can continue the work this team has started. And I’m asking you to bring a friend with you. When that friend tells you their vote doesn’t really matter, remind them of this: in the last District Attorney election across these three counties, 76,685 people voted - and I won by just 79 votes."
