From delicious food and live entertainment to fun for the kiddos, beautiful coastal views, and plenty of laughter, this is just one of the many fun experiences our amazing coastal towns have to offer! ❤️

The best part? Getting to enjoy it all with great people while making memories along the way! 🥰

Happy weekend, friends! You don’t have to organize your entire home this weekend. Pick one small space, put on your favorite music, and enjoy making a little progress. 💛

Here are five simple places to start:

🧺 Clear one clutter spot. A kitchen counter, entryway, or dining table is a great first win.

🥫 Check your pantry. Toss expired items, group baking supplies together, and take inventory before holiday grocery shopping.

🎁 Gather your gift wrap. Keep bags, tissue, tape, scissors, and tags in one easy-to-find spot.

October is North Carolina Oyster Month, and I couldn’t think of a better time to share a little piece of our family’s coastal history!

See that beautiful oyster artwork I’m standing beside? What makes it so special isn’t just the painting… it’s the oyster tongs that belonged to Joe’s grandfather! 🦪❤️

Joe comes from a family of watermen and oystermen, and those tongs represent generations of hard work, family traditions, and a way of life that’s such an important part of our coastal heritage.

Every time I look at this piece, I’m reminded that coastal living is about so much more than beautiful beaches and waterfront homes. It’s about the people, the stories, the history, and the memories passed down from one generation to the next.

That’s one of the many reasons we LOVE living here in coastal North Carolina! 🌊☀️

October is North Carolina Oyster Month, and if you love fresh seafood, beautiful waterfront views, live music, and a little coastal fun, this is YOUR season! 💙

Growing up in Maryland, I learned to appreciate a good oyster, and with Joe’s family history as watermen…..oysters have an extra-special place in our hearts! 🦪❤️

From Surf City to Wilmington, Carolina Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, and Oak Island, our coastal communities are celebrating with oyster roasts, festivals, delicious food, and plenty of Southern hospitality!

✨ I’ve rounded up some local oyster events you won’t want to miss, so save this post and share it with your oyster-loving friends!
