Today I received news that a former client passed away. Along with that news, I was contacted because she had left a personal item for me.
I sat quietly for a long time after hearing that.
People often see attorneys as paperwork 📋, court dates, phone calls, and outcomes. But for me, it has always been deeper than that.
Every client who walks through my door is carrying stress, uncertainty, or pain and I believe they deserve not just legal representation, but compassion ❤️, patience, and humanity.
This client reminded me why I pour my heart and soul into what I do. To know that, in some way, I made her feel supported enough to remember me is something I cannot fully put into words.
Success in this field is not always measured by verdicts or settlements. Sometimes it is measured by trust, kindness, and the impact we leave on people during difficult chapters of their lives.
Today, I feel humbled, grateful 🥹, and reminded that the work we do for others truly matters.
