We're proud to see Michael Nestor's impact recognized in Wilmington University's recent story, "A Path Shaped by Advocacy." What began as Mike's commitment to advocate for a child in Delaware's foster care system evolved into a lasting mentorship that helped inspire that young person, Jonathan Taylor, to pursue a legal career of his own. It is a powerful reminder that showing up, listening, and believing in others can change lives.

This year, Young Conaway's Summer Interns, Summer Associates, attorneys, and administrative professionals came together to support organizations making a meaningful difference for children and families in our community, including Nemours Children's Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, the Children's Advocacy Center, and the Nemours Clinic.

Thanks to the generosity of our personnel, donation tables quickly filled with toys, books, baby essentials, craft supplies, gift cards, and other much-needed items. During our Summer Service Project, volunteers sorted and packed donations, assembled craft kits, and created heartfelt cards designed to bring encouragement and smiles to children facing difficult circumstances.

These efforts reflect the compassion, teamwork, and community spirit that make our firm’s summer program so special. We are grateful to everyone who contributed their time, creativity, and generosity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families throughout our community.

Future lawyers received an inside look at the law school journey during Young Conaway's annual Law School 101 Program!

Young Conaway recently welcomed guests to our annual Law School 101 Program, a summer tradition designed to provide insight into the law school admissions process, selecting a law school, and the law school experience.

A special thank you to Deborah Edwards, Esq. for organizing another outstanding program, as well as our panel of law school admissions professionals from Delaware Law School, Rutgers Law School, Temple University Beasley School of Law, and Wilmington University Farnan School of Law who shared valuable advice and perspectives on pursuing a legal education.

Participants also heard firsthand from our Summer Associates about their law school journeys and had the opportunity to watch a mock trial demonstration, bringing the legal profession to life.
