It’s always rewarding to see the real impact of investing in the next generation of legal professionals.

Two years ago, Lindsay Spiece was the recipient of the 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗟𝗔 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽. That opportunity helped make her enrollment in the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 possible—an experience she credits with completely changing the trajectory of her career.

Today, Lindsay is a Corporate Litigation Paralegal at 𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘴, 𝘕𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘴, 𝘈𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘵 & 𝘛𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘓𝘓𝘗, and recently returned to UD to speak with current students and share her journey—coming full circle as both a speaker and now a featured alum.

Her story is a powerful reminder of how access, support, and determination can open doors in the legal profession and beyond.

Proud to celebrate Alexa Santangelo and Shaun Jones—both dedicated members of the 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘳—as they take the stage at 𝗔𝗟𝗔’𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 this July in Arizona. We're also honored that Alexa serves as 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘢 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘳, bringing even more leadership representation to the event.

What a night! Our 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 at 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐲’𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭 could not have asked for better weather or better company. The warm breeze, the waterfront views, and an incredible turnout made it a standout evening for the 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘈𝘓𝘈 community.

Our Pop-A-Shot competition brought out everyone’s competitive side. Big congratulations to 𝐄𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐩 of 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 for snagging the highest score of the night. And a very special shoutout to our “honorary winner” for lowest score — our 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐛 — proving that leadership comes in many forms, even if basketball accuracy isn’t one of them.

When it came time to pull raffle tickets, we gathered around and kept the excitement going. 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 had a lucky streak going. 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 snagged a 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 gift card, and 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞’𝐬 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐯𝐢𝐚 also walked away a winner with her own Tonic Seafood gift card. A lucky night all around.
