Family Court- Kent County is Moving
The new address as of September 3rd will be: 445 S. Governors Avenue, Dover, DE 19904

We encourage filing by email whenever possible from 8/31-9/3/2026. Please find instructions at Civil Filing by Email https://courts.delaware.gov/forms/download?id=122638
For non-emergency filings, we also encourage filing in New Castle or Sussex County. They will transfer the filing to Kent County.
There will be no public access to Records from 8/27-9/4/2026.

Friendship House is calling Code Orange today, Thursday, September 3, 2026.

Walk-ins are welcome for Code Orange services - no referrals are needed.

Those in need of heat relief are encouraged to visit these locations - light snacks, water, and access to bathrooms will be available:

WILMINGTON
📍 FH Wilmington Empowerment Center (720 N Orange St): Monday - 7am-5pm

NEWARK
📍 FH Newark Empowerment Center (300 E Main St): Monday - 8:30am-4:00pm

MIDDLETOWN
📍 FH Middletown Empowerment Center (44 W. Main St): Monday 8:30am-4:00pm

🎉We’re excited to share that CLASI has once again been recognized as a “Top Workplace” in Delaware by The News Journal/Delaware Online!

CLASI Deputy Director Sarah Rhine accepted the award on behalf of our staff at the 2026 Delaware Top Workplaces celebration in Wilmington last week.

CLASI's Disability Rights Delaware (DRD) program is the designated Protection & Advocacy agency for Delawareans with disabilities.
