Today was a good day for reflection. As an attorney, I have the benefit of meeting people from all walks of life. I hear their stories, their families, their dreams, and their fears. I am blessed to be in a position to listen. I am blessed to have the skill set where I can take action. Action that often mitigates consequences. Actions that keep futures intact. Actions that bring children home or keep families together. I am blessed in the simple truth that what I do, both in and out of the courtroom, every day matters. Even on the hard days.

It has been a busy week at Misty Nehring Law. I have been in the courtroom fighting for clients, holed up in my office fiercely typing away on motions and briefs, and taking one matter at a time. It has been a busy week but I'm also reminded of how important the work is. Families, futures, and livelihoods hinge on what happens in court. Most clients just want to be heard even when other personalities make life difficult.

Family law is tough by nature, valuing estates, facing broken relationships, but fairness and respect for others helps both sides move forward.
