Meet Maura Lickteig.

A Wichita native, Maura played volleyball at Benedictine College. After three summers working at TWG as a runner and receptionist, Maura returned this year as a law clerk, eager to learn from attorneys across a variety of practice areas and gain a deeper understanding of the profession.

For Maura, the path to law wasn't defined by a single moment. It grew through experience, relationships and a desire to serve the Wichita community she calls home.

Outside the office, you'll likely find her reading a good book, playing pickleball, spending time at the lake with family and friends … or pulling a fresh loaf of homemade sourdough bread from the oven.

Meet Kristen Aiyanyor.

This summer, Kristen joined TWG as a law clerk after completing two years of law school at KU Law. A Wichita native, she was excited for the opportunity to return home, spend time with family and gain experience in a firm that serves clients across a broad range of legal needs.

For as long as she can remember, Kristen has been interested in the law. What started as curiosity has grown into a confirmation that's strengthened through every class, conversation and experience along the way.

In her down time, she's taking care of her cat, Smokey, spending time with friends, getting involved in public policy … or surprising us with how much of a pool-shark she is.

Kristen joins us after completing two years at KU Law, and Maura has completed her first year at Washburn Law. This summer they'll be working alongside our team, learning, contributing and gaining practical experience serving clients and solving problems.
