For that first year of homeownership? We’re going with WURTH IT! Especially if the seller is footing the bill.

That first year comes with a lot of unknowns, and a home warranty can give you a little extra peace of mind while you’re getting to know your new home (and all of its quirks)!

There are several different home warranty options out there, so don’t be afraid to ask us which one might make the most sense for you + your home.

Then, when year one is up, you can decide whether the coverage was valuable enough to renew for another year.

🍂🎃✨ October is right around the corner! Which means it’s time to cozy up AND prep your home for the cooler months ahead. We’ve got your fall homeowner to do list covered ✅

Here are a few must do’s before the temps drop:

• Swap out those furnace filters so you’re not caught off guard later.
• Test your heat system before the first frost sneaks in.
• Gutters… again. Yes, we know. 🍁
• Start thinking about winterizing those outdoor faucets to avoid frozen pipe chaos.
• Reverse ceiling fans so warm air works smarter, not harder.
• Check the roof for critter hideouts or debris.

🌳 And don’t forget about the lawn!

• Rake up leaves regularly (they can smother your grass).
• Fertilize now for stronger roots come spring.
• Keep mowing until the grass stops growing… just lower the blade a notch for that final cut.
• Aerate if you can, your lawn will thank you!

We’re officially at the age where a good sewer scope can become an exciting topic of conversation. 😂 and it’s because we stand by it!

A sewer scope may not be the most glamorous part of buying a home, but we absolutely think it’s Wurth adding to your inspection!

It can uncover cracks, blockages, root intrusion, or damaged pipes before they become a very expensive surprise. And yes, we recommend it whether you’re buying a brand new build or a 100 year old home.

A little investigating now can save you a whole lot of money and headaches later!

Moral of the story: scope the sewer. Your future self may thank you. 🏡
